WHAT IS A FOOT CARE NURSE

Patient Centered, Holistic Care

A Certified Foot Care Specialist has received specialized education and training that demonstrates their understanding of basic and advanced foot care.
Through a holistic care approach, your foot care nurse uses her training and hands-on experience to detect and prevent foot issues thru assessment and non-invasive procedures. My goal is to reduce falls, wounds, and infections by providing routine nursing foot care.

WHO NEEDS A FOOT CARE NURSE

You or your loved one can benefit from a visit from our nurse if  you have any of the following medical conditions:

• Diabetes 

• Peripheral Neuropathy

• Vascular or arterial disease

• Obesity

• Poor Vision, poor hand-eye coordination

• Immobility, or require an assistive device for mobility 

• Alzheimers, Dementia, or Parkinsons

• Any condition that prevents you from providing your own foot and nail care.
